The Hay Fishing Classic event hub is located at Sandy Point on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.

Adults – $60
Juniors (Under 16) – $20
Juniors who pay the adult entry fee are eligible for Adult Competition prizes and Major Entry Prizes.

Camping & River access
Camping is permitted along the river during competition hours.
Please do not camp, fish or access private property along the river without the landholder’s permission.

Fishing Zones
Competition fishing takes place along designated sections of the Murrumbidgee River.
The fishing zone extends approximately 10km downstream from Sandy Point to the Hay Weir and up to 20km upstream.
Please ensure you remain within the designated fishing zone during competition times.
